Imaging of methane gas using a scanning, open-path laser system [PDF]

We have developed an imaging system for the detection and visualization of methane gas leaks. The system is based on a distributed feedback InGaAs laser diode emitting at 1.65μm, the beam from which is directed at neighbouring objects.

Associating a red‐NIR phosphorescent octahedral hexanuclear molybdenum cluster compound with hexaethyleneoxide chains bearing mesogenic units on both ends leads to an emissive hybrid liquid crystal showing mesomorphism on a very unusual temperature range down to −25°C.

Rethinking Charge Transport and Recombination in Donor‐Diluted Organic Solar Cells

Organic solar cells with 1–45% PM6 content in Y12 were studied to link structure and charge dynamics to performance. The conductivity follows a 3D percolation model without a sharp threshold. Donor dilution preserves the photogeneration yield, but limits the fill factor due to transport resistance losses.
