Narrow linewidth single laser source system for onboard atom interferometry [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
A compact and robust laser system for atom interferometry based on a frequency-doubled telecom laser is presented. Thanks to an original stabilization architecture on a saturated absorption setup, we obtain a frequency-agile laser system allowing fast ...

Implementation of amplitude–phase analysis of complex interferograms for measurement of spontaneous magnetic fields in laser generated plasma

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2020
Generation of spontaneous magnetic fields (SMFs) is one of the most interesting phenomena accompanying an intense laser–matter interaction. One method of credible SMFs measurements is based on the magneto-optical Faraday effect, which requires ...

Interferometry and Laser Control with Solid Fabry-Perot Etalons [PDF]

open access: yes, 1966
The use and analysis of solid Fabry-Perot etalons for interferometry and laser control are discussed and supported with experimental data. Low angle scattering is found to be an important factor influencing finesse and peak transmission.

Phase-shifted laser feedback interferometry [PDF]

open access: yesOptics Letters, 1998
We have introduced the techniques of phase-shifting interferometry into a laser feedback interference microscope based on a helium-neon laser. With moderate feedback, multiple reflections between the sample and the laser are shown to be negligible, and the interferometer responds sinusoidally with a well-characterized fringe modulation.

Frequency-Shifted Optical Feedback Measurement Technologies Using a Solid-State Microchip Laser

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2018
Since its first application toward displacement measurements in the early-1960s, laser feedback interferometry has become a fast-developing precision measurement modality with many kinds of lasers.
