Laser-Scribing Technology for Wafer-Scale Graphene Devices

open access: yes, 2016

New approaches to edge passivation of laser cut PERC solar cells

open access: yesEPJ Photovoltaics
Recently the development trend in the PV industry is towards much larger wafer formats. With increasing wafer area and the resulting increase in short-circuit current at the cell level, there is also a trend towards sub-cells (solar cell cut into smaller

MXene 3D‐AJP: Three‐Dimensional Well‐Oriented Freeform Networks of 2D MXene Nanosheets via Aerosol‐Based 3D Printing

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
This study presents an additive‐free aerosol jet 3D printing technique for assembling 2D MXene nanosheets into complex, customizable, high‐aspect‐ratio 3D microarchitectures without binders. By leveraging real‐time ink thickening, the authors also fabricate 3D microsupercapacitors with interdigitated electrodes that holds breakthrough device areal ...

AstroECP: towards more practical electron channeling contrast imaging

open access: yesJournal of Applied Crystallography, EarlyView.
We explore and address many of the major challenges associated with using electron channeling contrast imaging in a scanning electron microscope, with the goal of more easily revealing and characterizing crystalline defects such as dislocations.Electron channeling contrast imaging (ECCI) is a scanning electron microscope based technique which enables ...

First Flexible All‐Perovskite Tandem Minimodule Using Au‐Free Recombination Junction

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, Volume 7, Issue 4, April 2026.
Through the development of a thin‐indium tin oxide recombination layer with a high lateral resistance combined with a compact SnO2 buffer layer, stacking MA‐free wide bandgap and narrow bandgap subcells is successfully achieved. Also, thanks to the implementation of a suitable laser scribing process, 11 cm2 all‐perovskite tandem minimodules are ...

Using Ring Laser Systems to Measure Gravitomagnetic Effects on Earth

open access: yes, 2013
Gravitomagnetic effects originates from the rotation of the source of the gravitational field and from the rotational features of the observers' frame. In recent years, gravitomagnetism has been tested by means of its impact on the precession of LAGEOS ...

Sodium Induced Beneficial Effects in Wide Bandgap Cu(In,Ga)S2 Solar Cell With 15.7% Efficiency

open access: yesProgress in Photovoltaics: Research and Applications, Volume 34, Issue 4, Page 439-452, April 2026.
Wide bandgap Cu(In,Ga)S2 absorbers grown on soda‐lime glass (SLG) were optimized by introducing additional sodium (Na) via in situ NaF co‐evaporation. Optimal Na incorporation enhanced crystallinity, minimized Ga fluctuations across the depth, suppressed bulk defects, and reduced non‐radiative losses.
