An Early Devonian nonagonal orthoconic cephalopod from Morocco

A new specimen of a Dalejan (Late Emsian, Early Devonian) orthoconic cephalopod is described from the southwestern Tafi lalt (Anti-Atlas, Morocco). It has a nonagonal cross section (with nine edges) and resembles Kionoceras.
