Rates of change and chronological problems during the late-glacial period [PDF]
Results of high-resolution AMS (14)C dating of terrestrial plant macrofossils from late-glacial and early-Holocene lake deposits in Switzerland show three periods with constant radiocarbon ages.

Late-Glacial Cwm Glaciers In Wales [PDF]
Abstract The evidence for the existence of small glaciers in the cwms of the Caernarvonshire mountains during the Late-glacial Period is presented, and by an analysis of their distribution some of the factors responsible for their formation are deduced. These were primarily protection from insolation, drifting of snow into the cirques

Electrospun Wood‐Derived Biopolymers as Electrodes in Electrochemical Energy Storage Technologies
Electrospinning transforms wood‐derived cellulose and lignin into architecturally defined, binder‐free carbon electrodes with tuneable porosity and functionality. This review shows how fibre design enables decoupled charge and mass transport, enhancing performance across battery systems, while identifying key challenges in spinnability, scalability ...

The Kråkenes Late-glacial Palaeoenvironmental Project
Krakenes is the site of a small lake on the west coast of Norway that contains a long sequence of late-glacial sediments. The Younger Dryas is well represented, as a cirque glacier developed in the catchment at this time.

Palaeoenvironment of a mesolithic peat bed from Austin Friars, Leicester [PDF]
A mesolithic peat bed, dated to 9920±100 bp (HAR-4260) (bp = radiocarbon years before the present calculated from A.D. 19S0 within + or - of 100 years in this case. Ed.) was recovered from Austin Friars, Leicester.
