Magnetism, rotation and accretion in Herbig Ae-Be stars
Studies of stellar magnetism at the pre-main sequence phase can provide important new insights into the detailed physics of the late stages of star formation, and into the observed properties of main sequence stars.

GroEL binds a late folding intermediate of phage P22 coat protein [PDF]
GroEL recognizes proteins that are folding improperly or that have aggregation-prone intermediates. Here we have used as substrates for GroEL, wildtype (WT) coat protein of phage P22 and 3 coat proteins that carry single amino acid substitutions leading to a temperature-sensitive folding (tsf) phenotype.

Darboux transformations for quasi-exactly solvable Hamiltonians
We construct new quasi-exactly solvable one-dimensional potentials through Darboux transformations. Three directions are investigated: Reducible and two types of irreducible second-order transformations.

ABSTRACT A second allogeneic (allo‐)hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT2) is a potential curative option for pediatric patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) following relapse after first allogeneic transplantation (HSCT1), but its efficacy is limited by high relapse rates and transplant‐related toxicity in highly pretreated ...

Discovery of a Cryptic Intermediate in Late Steps of Mithramycin Biosynthesis [PDF]
AbstractMtmOIV and MtmW catalyze the final two reactions in the mithramycin (MTM) biosynthetic pathway, the Baeyer–Villiger opening of the fourth ring of premithramycin B (PMB), creating the C3 pentyl side chain, strictly followed by reduction of the distal keto group on the new side chain. Unexpectedly this results in a C2 stereoisomer of mithramycin,

CD4+ T cell heterogeneity in gestational age and preeclampsia using single-cell RNA sequencing
A balance between pro-inflammatory decidual CD4+ T cells and FOXP3+ regulatory T cells (FOXP3+ Tregs) is important for maintaining fetomaternal tolerance.

Revealing the structure of land plant photosystem II: the journey from negative‐stain EM to cryo‐EM
Advances in cryo‐EM have revealed the detailed structure of Photosystem II, a key protein complex driving photosynthesis. This review traces the journey from early low‐resolution images to high‐resolution models, highlighting how these discoveries deepen our understanding of light harvesting and energy conversion in plants.

Mapping the evolution of mitochondrial complex I through structural variation
Respiratory complex I (CI) is crucial for bioenergetic metabolism in many prokaryotes and eukaryotes. It is composed of a conserved set of core subunits and additional accessory subunits that vary depending on the organism. Here, we categorize CI subunits from available structures to map the evolution of CI across eukaryotes. Respiratory complex I (CI)

Adenovirus DNA template for late transcription is not a replicative intermediate [PDF]
The relationship between adenovirus replication and late transcription has been investigated using viral replication and transcription complexes isolated from infected HeLa cell nuclei. These two types of complexes extracted from adenovirus type 2-infected cell nuclei did not sediment at the same rate on sucrose gradients.
