Late intermediates in the biosynthesis of narciclasine

Journal of the Chemical Society D: Chemical Communications, 1971
Tracer experiments show the intermediacy of racemic noroxomaritidine (5), normaritidine (7), and crinine (4) in the biological conversion of O-methylnorbelladine (1) into narciclasine (11).

Difference Spectra Of Late Intermediates Of The Bacteriorhodopsin Photocycle

SPIE Proceedings, 1989
The flash-induced difference absorbance spectra of bacteriorhodopsin (BR) were measured at various times after an actinic flash using a diode array spectrophotometer (300-700 nm). Difference spectra for three late bacteriorhodopsin photocycle intermediates Mfast (Mf), mslow (Ms) and R are reported.

Intermediate-band photometry of late-type stars.

Publications of the Astronomical Society of the Pacific, 1976
In four-color, intermediate-band photometry of late-type stars, difficulty has been experienced in reproducing the Str5mgren system as defined by standard stars published by Crawford and Barnes. The difficulty is believed to be connected with the fact that an international, bulk order for filters has produced a considerably narrower V filter than that ...

Studies on the late steps of (+) pisatin biosynthesis: Evidence for (−) enantiomeric intermediates

Phytochemistry, 2006
Pisatin, a 6a-hydroxyl-pterocarpan phytoalexin from pea (Pisum sativum L.), is relatively unique among naturally occurring pterocarpans by virtue of the (+) stereochemistry of its 6a-11a C-C bond. However, pisatin synthesizing pea tissue has an isoflavone reductase, first identified in alfalfa, which acts on the (-) antipode.

Intermediate to late results of surgical relief of vascular tracheobronchial compression

European Journal of Cardio-Thoracic Surgery, 1992
Since 1979, a total of 69 infants and children aged 0.1 to 11.9 (median 0.7) years required surgical intervention for: double aortic arch (26), anomalous origin of innominate artery (26), right aortic arch with left ligamentum arteriosum (9), pulmonary artery sling (5), retroesophageal right subclavian artery (3).

Total synthesis of LewisX using a late-stage crystalline intermediate

Carbohydrate Research, 2015
Herein, we report on a highly efficient synthesis of a crystalline protected Lewis(X) trisaccharide that was converted to Lewis(X) following global deprotection. The trisaccharide was prepared in a highly convergent synthesis (seven steps, longest linear sequence) and in a 38% overall yield using a strategy that involved the regioselective ...

Electrochemical bromination of late stage intermediates and drug molecules

Tetrahedron Letters, 2017
Abstract Aromatic C H bromination is one of the applications of late stage functionalization that provides precursors for generation of radio-labelled compounds to support drug metabolism and pharmacokinetic (DMPK) studies or provide a “handle” for further functionalization to expand SAR studies without having to resort to de novo synthesis ...

[Intermediate and late changes in human cardiac graft].

Archives des maladies du coeur et des vaisseaux, 1991
Chronic rejection, the most serious complication in long-term survivors of cardiac transplantation, was studied in 5 cardiac grafts obtained at retransplantation and in 15 post-mortem studies of patients who had survived 3 months to 10 years after transplantation. The usual clinical presentation was cardiac failure.
