Erratum to Andruff, Carraro, Thompson, Gaudreau, and Louvet (2009): Latent Class Growth Modelling: A tutorial [PDF]

open access: yesTutorials in Quantitative Methods for Psychology, 2013
An error was found in Andruff, Carraro, Thompson, Gaudreau, and Louvet (2009). Here we identify the error and present a correction.

Analysis of social class by LCA in patients with schizophrenia: change in psychopathology after 12- month of treatment

open access: yesPsychiatry and Clinical Psychopharmacology, 2021
Objective: The social factors may contribute to the heterogeneous course of schizophrenia and relationship between these factors and the level of care received is complex.

Variations in adolescents’ motivational characteristics across gender and physical activity patterns: A latent class analysis approach

open access: yesBMC Public Health, 2017
Background Neglecting to take account of the underlying context or type of physical activity (PA) that underpins overall involvement has resulted in a limited understanding of adolescents’ PA participation.

Dynamics and sparsity in latent threshold factor models: A study in multivariate EEG signal processing

open access: yes, 2016
We discuss Bayesian analysis of multivariate time series with dynamic factor models that exploit time-adaptive sparsity in model parametrizations via the latent threshold approach.

Framework to construct and interpret latent class trajectory modelling

open access: yesBMJ Open, 2018
Objectives Latent class trajectory modelling (LCTM) is a relatively new methodology in epidemiology to describe life-course exposures, which simplifies heterogeneous populations into homogeneous patterns or classes.

Trajectories of Physical Function in Canadian Children with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, Accepted Article.
Objectives We describe trajectories of physical function in children newly diagnosed with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) and identify trajectories with persisting functional impairments and associated baseline characteristics. Methods We included patients enrolled in the Canadian Alliance of Pediatric Rheumatology Investigators (CAPRI) Registry ...

An Adaptive Human Pilot Model With Reaction Time Delay for Enhanced Adaptive Control in Piloted Systems

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, EarlyView.
This work introduces an adaptive human pilot model that captures pilot time‐delay effects in adaptive control systems. The model enables the prediction of pilot–controller interactions, facilitating safer integration and improved design of adaptive controllers for piloted applications.

Interactions between Molten High‐Silicon Electrical Steels and Carbon‐Bonded MgO Refractories Based on Recyclates

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This study examines how several molten high‐silicon electrical steels interact with both conventional and recycled MgO–C refractories. For this, various immersion experiments are conducted. In addition to infiltration, a number of mechanisms are identified and explained that control the corrosion of the refractory material.
