Population heterogeneity in growth trajectories can be detected with growth mixture modeling (GMM). It is common that researchers compute composite scores of repeated measures and use them as multiple indicators of growth factors (baseline performance ...

Bayesian Power Equivalence in Latent Growth Curve Models [PDF]
Longitudinal studies are the gold standard for research on time-dependentphenomena in the social sciences. However, they often entail high costs dueto multiple measurement occasions and a long overall study duration. It istherefore useful to optimize these design factors while maintaining a highinformativeness of the design. Von Oertzen and Brandmaier (

A study on longitudinal relationship between ultrafine dust and the prevalence of depression
Background Recently, the fine dust problem caused by rapid industrialization and science and technological development has emerged as a severe social issue worldwide. This also increases the interest in its effect on human life. In particular, there is a

We developed and validated a DNA methylation–based biomarker panel to distinguish pleural mesothelioma from other pleural conditions. Using the IMPRESS technology, we translated this panel into a clinically applicable assay. The resulting two classifier models demonstrated excellent performance, achieving high AUC values and strong diagnostic accuracy.

Effective therapeutic targeting of CTNNB1‐mutant hepatoblastoma with WNTinib
WNTinib, a Wnt/CTNNB1 inhibitor, was tested in hepatoblastoma (HB) experimental models. It delayed tumor growth and improved survival in CTNNB1‐mutant in vivo models. In organoids, WNTinib outperformed cisplatin and showed enhanced efficacy in combination therapy, supporting its potential as a targeted treatment for CTNNB1‐mutated HB.

Meta‐transcriptome analysis identified FGF19 as a peptide enteroendocrine hormone associated with colorectal cancer prognosis. In vivo xenograft models showed release of FGF19 into the blood at levels that correlated with tumor volumes. Tumoral‐FGF19 altered murine liver metabolism through FGFR4, thereby reducing bile acid synthesis and increasing ...
