Movement Disorders in Aicardi–Goutières Syndrome and Response to Immunomodulation
ABSTRACT This study characterizes movement disorders and treatment responses in seven children with Aicardi–Goutières syndrome (AGS). We retrospectively evaluated motor phenotypes, neuroimaging, and interferon signatures in patients treated with baricitinib or anifrolumab. Spasticity affected all patients, while dystonia was present in 4/7.

A Latent Variable Approach to Multivariate Quantitative Trait Loci [PDF]
A novel approach based on latent variable modelling is presented for the analysis of multivariate quantitative and qualitative trait loci. The approach is general in the sense that it enables the joint analysis of many kinds of quantitative and ...

Modular Jump Gaussian Processes
Gaussian processes (GPs) furnish accurate nonlinear predictions with well-calibrated uncertainty. However, the typical GP setup has a built-in stationarity assumption, making it ill-suited for modeling data from processes with sudden changes, or “jumps ...

Comparative Effectiveness and Safety of Inebilizumab Versus Rituximab in AQP4‐IgG‐Positive NMOSD
ABSTRACT Objective Rituximab (anti‐CD20, RTX) and inebilizumab (anti‐CD19, INE) represent B‐cell‐depleting therapies used for aquaporin‐4 antibody‐positive (AQP4‐IgG+) neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD); however, direct comparative evidence remains limited.

MOGAD Is the Most Common Cause of Isolated Optic Neuritis in Children
ABSTRACT Objectives The study aimed to characterize the clinical features, etiologies, and outcomes of isolated, first‐time pediatric ON in the post‐MOG‐IgG era. Methods This was a single‐center retrospective cohort study at Texas Children's Hospital of patients diagnosed with first‐time ON between 2018–2024, with follow‐up data collected through 2025.

Bayesian Latent Variable Models for Biostatistical Applications [PDF]
In this thesis we develop several kinds of latent variable models in order to address three types of bio-statistical problem. The three problems are the treatment effect of carcinogens on tumour development, spatial interactions between plant species ...

Particle methods for maximum likelihood estimation in latent variable models [PDF]
Standard methods for maximum likelihood parameter estimation in latent variable models rely on the Expectation-Maximization algorithm and its Monte Carlo variants.
