Supernumerary Lateral Incisor Teeth
British Journal of Orthodontics, 1974A sample of 62 cases of supernumerary teeth found in the lateral incisor area was selected and analysed. Treatment of missing lateral incisors
American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, 2004Diagnosing and treating growing children who are missing lateral incisors continues to be a problem for many clinicians. Unusual Maxillary Lateral Incisors: Case Reports
Australian Endodontic Journal, 2004AbstractRoot canal morphology is often complex and the number of root canals may vary for any type of tooth. Abnormalities in the root canal morphology of maxillary lateral inciors are rare. Maxillary lateral incisors can have two root canals, even though the dental literature supports their 100% singleācanal anatomy.

Endodontic access to maxillary lateral incisors
Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology, 1981One hundred thirty-one maxillary lateral incisors were radiographed from a mesiodistal vantage point. Transposed premolars, canines, and lateral incisors
American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, 1990Transposed teeth are not uncommon in dental practice nor are those in ectopic eruption patterns. Such teeth may be managed in various ways. Even with close observation, their course may be unpredictable; indeed, it may be necessary to change the treatment plan during treatment. Several case histories illustrate these situations.
