A simple and rapid latex fixation test for measuring immunoglobulins produced in cell cultures
Journal of Immunological Methods, 1981A rapid and simple latex fixation test (LFT), which quantifies immunoglobulin (Ig) released into culture supernatants is described. Latex particles are coated with rabbit anti-human IgG, IgA or IgM antibodies. With this LFT technique the concentration of Ig is determined within a few minutes.

The latex fixation test for rheumatoid arthritis using patients' own gamma globulin.
Arthritis & Rheumatism, 1958The originators of the “latex fixation test” for rheumatoid arthritis have observed that modifications of their original procedure can increase the number of positive results to 90 per cent of rheumatoid patients without increasing the frequency of false

Latex Slide Fixation Test in Dermatology
Archives of Dermatology, 1960Because of the continued interest and concern of the dermatologist in lupus erythematosus, he must be aware also of the developments in rheumatology. Frequently arthritis may precede the onset of the cutaneous phase of lupus erythematosus, and it is of interest to determine whether this is rheumatoid arthritis or that of lupus erythematosus.
