ABSTRACT Heatwaves are intensifying worldwide, often coinciding with high vapour pressure deficit (VPD) and soil drought. Yet, how temperate tree species tolerate these combined stresses remains elusive. Using single‐tree gas‐exchange chambers, we examined the response of leaf gas exchange and thermoregulation of three broadleaved tree species to a ...

C3aR1 mediates microglial activation after SAH in part through the TGF‐β/Smad signaling pathway. Vorinostat alleviates early brain injury after SAH by reducing C3aR1 levels. ABSTRACT Background Excessive microglial activation after subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) contributes to early brain injury (EBI) and poor clinical outcomes.

ABSTRACT Background Non‐typeable Streptococcus pneumoniae (NT‐Sp) strains lack detectable capsules and are often missed by traditional serotyping. While associated primarily with asymptomatic carriage, NT‐Sp has emerged as a key player in antimicrobial resistance (AMR) gene dissemination and serotype replacement in the post‐vaccine era. This systematic
