Butterfly‐Shaped Guest Molecules Enable Tunable Room‐Temperature Phosphorescence in Host‐Guest Doped Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 2, 9 January 2026.
Butterfly‐shaped triphenylamine‐based guest molecules (DBDBD) doped into rigid host matrices (TPP, CA) achieve efficient, multicolor‐tunable room‐temperature phosphorescence (RTP). The host‐guest synergy enables ultralong afterglow (up to 4 s) and quantum yields (Φp = 3.42%), with applications in dynamic anti‐counterfeiting and information encryption ...

Co‐Self‐Assembled Interface Engineering Assisted for Bend‐Resistant and Efficient Flexible Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 3, 14 January 2026.
In this study, by incorporating 4‐nitrophenyl phosphate (PNPP) into [4‐(3,6‐dimethyl‐9H‐carbazol‐9‐yl)butyl]phosphonic acid (Me‐4PACz), an efficient co‐assembled monolayer (Co‐SAM) is constructed to modulate the bottom interface region, thereby developing highly efficient and stable inverted flexible perovskite solar cells.

In Situ Utilization of Co‐Existing Metal Ions to Fabricate Single‐Atom Catalyst for Boosting Fenton‐Like Activity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 4, 19 January 2026.
A metal‐free TQBQ‐COF with pre‐designed anchoring sites captures coexisting Cu²⁺ from wastewater to form a single‐atom catalyst within 1 min. This in‐situ fabrication boosts visible‐light photo‐Fenton activity, enabling efficient removal of organics pollutants via 1O2 and holes.

Coordination‐Locked Engineering to Achieve Narrowband Room Temperature Phosphorescence in Non‐Rare Earth Metal–Organic Frameworks

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 3, 14 January 2026.
In this contribution, the coordination‐locked phosphorescence amplification (CLPA) strategy is developed to successfully construct the first non‐rare‐earth narrowband RTP MOF crystal, Sr–tbc. In addition, Sr–tbc shows potential applications in high‐resolution afterglow display and multilevel information recognition.

Supramolecular Macrocyclic Iodine Adsorbents Enable Photothermally Stable Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 4, 19 January 2026.
Two novel diazapentacene‐based macrocycles are synthesized with expanded cavities that enable dual‐mode iodine adsorption through both physical and chemical interactions. When applied as iodine adsorbents in solar cells, PSCs incorporating M4 achieve 26.13% efficiency with 95.85% retention after 1000 h at 85 °C.
