A single‐step laser annealing strategy is presented for dual‐gate a‐IGZO TFTs. The steep thermal gradient induces graded oxygen doping in the channel and simultaneous WOx removal at the contacts, enabling concurrent interface and contact engineering.

Correlated Charge Transport in an Organic Coulomb Glass
ABSTRACT Advances in the development of organic field‐effect transistors (OFETs), electrically gated organic semiconductors (EGOFETs), and organic electrochemical transistors (OECTs) allow for the operation of these devices at very high charge‐carrier densities, where Coulomb interactions between carriers can be expected to become significant.

The Lattice Boltzmann-electrohydrodynamic approach is proposed to study the dynamics of electrowetting-on-dielectric-driven microdroplet transport. We apply the pseudo-potential lattice Boltzmann model to study the dynamic process of droplet motion and ...

Molecular doping of conjugated polymers is fundamentally constrained by thermodynamic phase behavior. This Perspective reframes doping efficiency and stability in terms of miscibility limits, binodals, and solvus boundaries, highlighting the role of effective interaction parameters and charge transfer.

A Lattice Boltzmann model for multi-component vapor-liquid two phase flow
In traditional multi-phase multi-component Lattice Boltzmann (LB) models, the phase properties especially the vapor-liquid equilibrium calculations failed to model the actual flow realistically.

ABSTRACT The accelerating expansion of data‐centric technologies is sharply increasing the energy burden of information storage, placing unprecedented pressure on the efficiency of magnetic switching. Conventional field‐driven reversal, once the foundation of magnetic memory, has become impractical in modern architectures due to its high energy cost ...

A Reduced-Storage Implementation of the Lattice Boltzmann Equation [PDF]
Simulation programs using the Lattice Boltzmann Equation are limited in the range of problems they can address by memory requirements. We describe an implementation scheme that reduces memory usage by up to 78%. The performance of both the simple and the memory-reduced implementation are compared.

The energetic offset between the donor and the acceptor components in organic photoactive layers is central to the tradeoff between photovoltage and photocurrent losses. This Perspective covers the most important issues surrounding this topic in non‐fullerene acceptor blends, from the difficulty of accurately determining state energies and driving ...
