Root patterns and energy spectra of quantum integrable systems without U(1) symmetry: the antiperiodic XXZ spin chain

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
Finding out root patterns of quantum integrable models is an important step to study their physical properties in the thermodynamic limit. Especially for models without U(1) symmetry, their spectra are usually given by inhomogeneous T − Q relations and ...

Determinant form of correlators in high rank integrable spin chains via separation of variables

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
In this paper we take further steps towards developing the separation of variables program for integrable spin chains with gl N $$ \mathfrak{gl}(N) $$ symmetry.

On the ODE/IM correspondence for minimal models [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Within the framework of the ODE/IM correspondence, we show that the minimal conformal field theories with c < 1 emerge naturally from the monodromy properties of certain families of ordinary differential ...

Analysing the significance of small conformational changes and low occupancy states in serial crystallographic data

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Exact solution of the sp(4) integrable spin chain with generic boundaries

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
The off-diagonal Bethe ansatz method is generalized to the integrable model associated with the sp(4) (or C 2) Lie algebra. By using the fusion technique, we obtain the complete operator product identities among the fused transfer matrices.

Lattice models, cylinder partition functions, and the affine coxeter element [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
The partition functions of the affine Pasquier models on the cylinder are calculated in the continuum limit. The partition functions of the models based upon the Â(_n) cycle graphs are first found from the appropriate Coulomb-gas equivalence.

Investigation of Laser Ablation and Brush Pre‐Treatments for AlCu Cold Roll Bonding in Oxygen‐Free Conditions

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
It is shown that laser ablation pretreatment under oxygen‐free conditions enables copper–aluminium bonding at significantly lower deformation degrees and improved properties compared to mechanical brushing. Laser ablation further increases interface contact area and induces favourable residual stress states and microstructural compatibility ...

A general fusion procedure for open $$\mathfrak{g}\mathfrak{l}(N)$$ spin chains: application to the ABJM spin chain

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We formulate a general fusion procedure for open $$\mathfrak{g}\mathfrak{l}(N)$$ spin chains. We construct the fused boundary reflection matrices and the corresponding fused reflection equations.
