Fluid flow in the Earth's crust can be accurately described by a diffusion equation, with highly anisotropic, heterogeneous and time dependent diffusivities. The so‐called Bhatnagar‐Gross‐Krook (BGK) models provide a simple and efficient way to solve the scalar diffusion equation with complex boundary conditions.

Water‐soluble amine‐functionalized polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane promotes concurrent latex coalescence and crosslinking, allowing epoxy‐functional particles to form continuous films without added volatile coalescing agents. The resulting multiscale‐reinforced waterborne coatings combine high strength, toughness, optical transparency, scratch ...

Holographic description of boundary gravitons in (3+1) dimensions
Gravity is uniquely situated in between classical topological field theories and standard local field theories. This can be seen in the quasi-local nature of gravitational observables, but is nowhere more apparent than in gravity’s holographic ...

Combined structure‐function assessment in aortic rings from Marfan mice using MechaMorph Opto‐Biomechatronics technology relates increased elasticity (stiffness) and dynamic viscosity and less ordered extracellular matrix 3D‐structure (collagen) as potential causes for impaired Windkessel function and compromised haemodynamics in Marfan's syndrome ...

Scale invariance beyond criticality within the mean-field analysis of tensorial field theories
We continue the series of articles on the application of Landau-Ginzburg mean-field theory to unveil the basic phase structure of tensorial field theories which are characterized by combinatorially non-local interactions.

Ward identities and combinatorics of rainbow tensor models
We discuss the notion of renormalization group (RG) completion of non-Gaussian Lagrangians and its treatment within the framework of Bogoliubov-Zimmermann theory in application to the matrix and tensor models. With the example of the simplest non-trivial

Poincare invariance in discrete gravity
A formulation of discrete gravity was recently proposed based on defining a lattice and a shift operator connecting the cells. Spinors on such a space will have rotational SO(d) invariance which is taken as the fundamental symmetry.

Lattice Boltzmann Simulation of Deformation and Breakup of a Droplet under Gravity Force Using Interparticle Potential Model [PDF]
Abstract In this paper interparticle potential model of the lattice Boltzmann method (LBM) is used to simulate deformation and breakup of a falling droplet under gravity force. First this model is applied to ensure that the surface tension effect is properly implemented in this model. Two tests have been considered.

Smart Bioinks for 4D Bioprinting: Requirements, Design, and Applications
Smart bioinks empower 4D‐bioprinted constructs to dynamically adapt and remodel in response to stimuli, effectively biomimicking native tissues. Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) play a guiding role in their rational design by optimizing relevant properties.
