Tailoring Li‐ion Storage and Transport in Two‐Dimensional Conjugated Metal‐Organic Frameworks via Precise Nitrogen Incorporation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Two nitrogen‐doped 2D conjugated metal‐organic frameworks (2D c‐MOFs, namely Cu‐Nx‐OHBA, x = 2 or 4) are synthesized, featuring precise nitrogen incorporation via rational ligand design. The Cu‐Nx‐OHBA 2D c‐MOFs are largely tailorable by varying skeletal nitrogen density, with respect to electrical conductivity, Li‐storage capacitance, and Li‐transport

Proof theory for linear lattices

open access: yes, 1985
We make a study of lattices representable by commuting equivalence relations, which we call linear lattices. We develop a proof theory for implications valid in linear lattices, which differs from classical proof theories in that its deductions transform

Designed Lewis Acid–Base Passivation for High Performance Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Silicon's high cost and long energy payback time remain major barriers to the global expansion of solar power. In contrast, metal–halide perovskites offer abundant, solution‐processable absorbers, and have achieved efficiencies of 25%–30%, positioning them as strong competitors to silicon.

Glissile Interphase Boundaries Enable Collective Phase Switching in Epitaxial Polar Oxides

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A triple point is identified in the phase diagram of low‐symmetry epitaxial BiFeO3 thin film along with an extended regime of phase competition associated with a flattened energy landscape. The electromechanical response is shown to be governed by correlated interphase‐boundary motion, including scale‐free avalanche dynamics characteristic of systems ...

Priestley duality for some algebras with a negation operator

open access: yes, 2007
In \cite{Celani} it was introduced the variety of $\lnot$-lattices as bounded distributive lattice $\boldsymbol{A}$ endowed with a unary operation $\lnot$, satisfying the axioms $\lnot0\approx1$ and $\lnot\left( a\vee b\right) \approx\lnot a\wedge ...

Magnetic‐Field Control of Surface States in CoFe2O4 Thin Films for Nitrate Electroreduction to Ammonia

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Magnetic‐field‐assisted CVD of heterometallic single‐source precursors modulates thin‐film surface electronic structure and interfacial charge transfer. Field‐grown (Cobalt ferrite‐1T)CF‐1T films exhibit stabilized electronic states, lower kinetic barriers, and markedly enhanced nitrate‐to‐ammonia electrocatalysis versus (Cobalt ferrite‐0T) CF‐0T ...

Dualities in lattices of semigroup varieties

open access: yesSemigroup Forum, 1990
The subvariety lattice of a variety \({\mathfrak V}\) of universal algebras is denoted by L(\({\mathfrak V})\). Varieties \({\mathfrak V}\) and \({\mathfrak V}'\) are said to be dual to one another if L(\({\mathfrak V})\) and L(\({\mathfrak V}')\) are dual lattices; \({\mathfrak V}\) is selfdual if L(\({\mathfrak V})\) is selfdual. Let \({\mathfrak X}\)

Dynamic Interfacial Chemistry of Choline Chloride as Electrolyte Additive for Stable Zn‐Iodine Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Choline chloride (ChCl) additive enables dynamic interface engineering in Zn‐I2 batteries by forming hydrophobic polyiodide complexes and a Zn‐stabilizing Ch+‐rich layer under electric field modulation. This dual‐function strategy suppresses iodine hydrolysis and dendrite formation, while optimizing Zn2+ solvation and transport for high‐efficiency ...

A Holistic Stabilization of the Anode in Lithium‐Sulfur Batteries Through a Ternary Alloy Fusion

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
LiTeAl anodes fabricated through a scalable thermal fusion technique holistically addresses the stability issues faced by lithium‐metal anodes in lithium–sulfur batteries. Aluminum forming a skeletal network with lithium suppresses dendrite growth and enhances energy density, while tellurium forming a robust SEI facilitates Li+‐ion flow.

The category of complete algebraic lattices

open access: yes, 1972
The purpose of this note is to prove the duality of several pairs of categories of complete algebraic lattices, to prove that certain natural categories of join semilattices are equivalent to categories of complete algebraic lattices, and to prove that ...
