Karyologie und kologisch-morphologische Differenzierung vonPeumus boldus (Monimiaceae, Laurales)

Plant Systematics and Evolution, 1981
The karyotype analysis ofPeumus boldus reveals a remarkable differentiation of chromosomes in size and form. C-banding pattern and interphase nuclei are discribed and compared with other genera. The great variation in leaf-shape and growth-form is continuous and correlated with the very diverse habitats of the species.

TWO NEW SUPRAGENERIC TAXA IN THE MONIMIACEAE ALLIANCE (LAURALES)

Embryology of Illigera and Sparattanthelium (Hernandiaceae, Laurales): Family Characteristics and Relationships

International Journal of Plant Sciences, 2008
The Hernandiaceae, a small family comprising five genera that are closely related to the Lauraceae and Monimiaceae, exhibit highly diverse morphological characters. Here, we present the first embryological study of Illigera and Sparattanthelium and, by comparing those data to those from Gyrocarpus and Hernandia, discuss the relationships in the ...
