Spectral representations of characteristic functions of discrete probability laws [PDF]
We consider discrete probability laws on the real line, whose characteristic functions are separated from zero. In particular, this class includes arbitrary discrete infinitely divisible laws and lattice probability laws, whose characteristic functions have no zeroes on the real line. We show that characteristic functions of such laws admit spectral L\'

On thermodynamics second law in the modified Gauss Bonnet gravity [PDF]
The second law and the generalized second law of thermodynamics in cosmology in the framework of the modified Gauss-Bonnet theory of gravity are investigated. The conditions upon which these laws hold are derived and discussed.

A Simple Derivation of the Heap's Law from the Generalized Zipf's Law [PDF]
I reproduce a rather simple formal derivation of the Heaps' law from the generalized Zipf's law, which I previously published in Russian.

General Theory of Law and Development
Cornell International Law Journal: Vol. 50 : No. 3 , Article 2.Although scholarship in law and development that explores the relationship between law and social and economic progress has evolved over the last four decades, this area of inquiry remains unfamiliar to many legal scholars, lawyers, and policy makers.

In this paper, we intend to generalize the classical set theory as much as possible. we will do this by freeing sets from the regular properties of classical sets; e.g., the law of excluded middle, the law of non-contradiction, the distributive law, the commutative law,etc....

Elasticity of Diametrically Compressed Microfabricated Woodpile Lattices
Modulus–porosity relationship is derived for woodpile lattices with struts under diametrical compression. The formula presented here that Young's modulus is proportional to the square of the volume fraction E˜ρ2$E \sim \left(\rho\right)^{2}$ is shown to be consistent with computations and laboratory experiments on 3D‐printed samples.

AISI 304L stainless steel powder is mixed with silicon nitride (Si3N4) powder and processed by PBF‐LB/M, allowing partial retention of Si3N4. The numerical approach effectively predicts the Si3N4 powder homogeneity and N content distribution on the powder bed. Recent studies have focused on the alloying of nitrogen (N) in high‐alloy stainless steels by
