Hybrid Framework Materials: Next‐Generation Engineering Materials
Hybrid organic–inorganic materials merge the unique properties of organic and inorganic compounds, enabling applications in optoelectronics, gas storage, and catalysis. This review explores metal‐organic frameworks, hybrid organic–inorganic perovskites, and the emerging field of hybrid glasses, emphasizing their structures, functionalities, and ...

Zeroth and Second Laws of Thermodynamics Simultaneously Questioned in the Quantum Microworld
Several models of quantum open systems are known at present to violate, according to principles of the standard quantum theory of open systems, the second law of thermodynamics. Here, a new and rather trivial model of another type is suggested describing

Violation of First Law of Thermodynamics in f(R,T) Gravity [PDF]
In this Letter, we derived the first law of thermodynamics using the method proposed by Wald. Treating the entropy as Noether charge and comparing with the usual first law of thermodynamics, we obtained the expression of entropy explicitly which contains infinitely many non-local terms (i.e. the integral terms).

Thermodynamic laws in isolated systems [PDF]
The recent experimental realization of exotic matter states in isolated quantum systems and the ensuing controversy about the existence of negative absolute temperatures demand a careful analysis of the conceptual foundations underlying microcanonical thermostatistics.

Biomolecular condensates have central functions in cells and are also observed during the assembly of biological materials such as silks. For a mini‐spidroin protein, the presence of long‐lived metastable or dynamically arrested intermediate states leads to complex pathways and difficulties in identifying equilibrium states. Constructing phase diagrams

Generalized Second Law of Thermodynamics in Quintom Dominated Universe [PDF]
In this paper we will investigate the validity of the Generalized Second Law of thermodynamics for the Quintom model of dark energy. Reviewing briefly the quintom scenario of dark energy, we will study the conditions of validity of the generalized second law of thermodynamics in three cases: quintessence dominated, phantom dominated and transition from

This work establishes a general theory of the current transient of ionic‐electronic transistors under a step of gate voltage. The dominant effect is a transient charging of the channel by diffusion of ions. The additional influence of electrolyte capacitance and resistance splits the fundamental time constant of diffusion into two different components.

Harnessing Outer Space for Improved Electrocaloric Cooling
A novel radiative heat sink/source‐integrated electrocaloric (R‐iEC) system combines the electrocaloric (EC) effect with a thermally conductive radiative cooler (TCRC) to address heat dissipation limitations in EC devices. Utilizing outer space as a heat sink, the system achieves up to 240 W m−2 of heat dissipation performance, making it highly ...
