Aryl‐Acetylene Layered Hybrid Perovskites in Photovoltaics
Angewandte Chemie International EditionAbstractMetal halide perovskites have shown exceptional potential in converting solar energy to electric power in photovoltaics, yet their application is hampered by limited operational stability. This stimulated the development of hybrid layered (two‐dimensional, 2D) halide perovskites based on hydrophobic organic spacers, templating perovskite slabs,

Layered perovskites as ‘soft-ceramics’
Journal of the European Ceramic Society, 1999Abstract The layered perovskite KCa 2 Nb 3 O 10 is shown to possess large elastic and fracture anisotropies which are explained on the basis of its structure. Its fracture toughness was measured relative to the in-basal and basal-normal directions. Combined with previously determined elastic moduli, the fracture energy release rates and associated ...

Perovskite layers make the grade
Science, 2018Solar Cells Inverted planar perovskite solar cells offer opportunities for a simplified device structure compared with conventional mesoporous titanium oxide interlayers. However, their lower open-circuit voltages result in lower power conversion efficiencies.

Diffuse scattering in the layered perovskites
Zeitschrift für Kristallographie, 2005Abstract Single-crystal X-ray and neutron diffuse scattering techniques have been used to probe a variety of short-range displacive and magnetic orderings in the layered transition-metal perovskites which arise due to the intimate coupling of their structural, electronic and magnetic degrees of freedom.

Noncuprate Layered Perovskite Superconductor
1997All the high-T c oxide superconductors (HTSC) known to date are copper-based oxides (cuprates) in the layered perovskite crystal structures that contain a planar network of copper and oxygen (CuO2 planes). Without doubt such a planner network provides the essential environment for the occurrence of high T c.

Superconductivity of Layered Perovskite Sr2RuO4
1996The first layered perovskite superconductor without copper has recently been found. It is Sr2Ru04 in the K2NiF4 structure with 7C ≈ 1 K. Studies with high-quality single crystals revealed highly anisotropic Fermiliquid behavior, as well as large anisotropy in the superconducting parameters.

Structural studies of layered perovskites
2004In this work studies have been carried out into the structures of three families of layered perovskite using powder neutron diffraction. It is shown that Bi₅Ti₃FeO₁₅ exhibits only one high temperature phase transition, from A2₁am to I4/mmm. For another 4-layer Aurivillius phase, BaBi₄Ti₄O₁₅, the room temperature structure has been successfully refined ...
