New layered perovskite ruthenates: Ca2RuO4
Physica C: Superconductivity, 1997Abstract We have newly synthesized two distinct layered ruthenates of Ca2RuO4. They are both related to Sr2RuO4, the layered perovskite superconductor (Tc ≈ 1K) without copper. In contrast with the highly correlated metal Sr2RuO4, both phases of Ca2RuO4 are Mott insulators.

Quadruple-layered perovskite (CuCl)Ca2NaNb4O13
Journal of Solid State Chemistry, 2012We will present the synthesis, structure and magnetic properties of a new quadruple-layered perovskite (CuCl)Ca{sub 2}NaNb{sub 4}O{sub 13}. Through a topotactic ion-exchange reaction with CuCl{sub 2}, the precursor RbCa{sub 2}NaNb{sub 4}O{sub 13} presumably having an incoherent octahederal tliting changes into (CuCl)Ca{sub 2}NaNb{sub 4}O{sub 13} with a

Carrier Transport Layer‐Free Perovskite Solar Cells
ChemSusChem, 2021AbstractPower conversion efficiencies (PCEs) of up to 25.5 % have been reported for perovskite solar cells (PSCs). Thus, they have shown great potential for commercial applications. Therefore, simplifying technological process and reducing production costs have been a widespread concern among scientific and industrial communities.

Noncuprate Layered Perovskite Superconductor
1997All the high-T c oxide superconductors (HTSC) known to date are copper-based oxides (cuprates) in the layered perovskite crystal structures that contain a planar network of copper and oxygen (CuO2 planes). Without doubt such a planner network provides the essential environment for the occurrence of high T c.

Topochemical Modification of Layered Perovskites
MRS Proceedings, 2008AbstractTopochemical reaction strategies based on two-step intercalation methods are studied. Reactions involving reductive followed by oxidative intercalation are quite effective in making new compounds; the synthesis and characterization of (A2Cl)LaNb2O7 (A = Rb, Cs) are presented.

Layered perovskites as ‘soft-ceramics’
Journal of the European Ceramic Society, 1999Abstract The layered perovskite KCa 2 Nb 3 O 10 is shown to possess large elastic and fracture anisotropies which are explained on the basis of its structure. Its fracture toughness was measured relative to the in-basal and basal-normal directions. Combined with previously determined elastic moduli, the fracture energy release rates and associated ...

2D Perovskite Capping Layer Enabling Stable Perovskite Photovoltaics
Solar RRLInterfacial passivation plays a pivotal role in achieving efficient and stable perovskite solar cells. Meanwhile, the introduction of 2D perovskites has also been widely reported to be beneficial for enhancing the performance and stability of devices. Herein, DEAI is used as an ammonium salt, which is spin coated onto the surface of the perovskite film,

Perovskite layers make the grade
Science, 2018Solar Cells Inverted planar perovskite solar cells offer opportunities for a simplified device structure compared with conventional mesoporous titanium oxide interlayers. However, their lower open-circuit voltages result in lower power conversion efficiencies.
