Polymerization of aniline in layered perovskites

open access: yesMaterials Science and Engineering B: Solid-State Materials for Advanced Technology, 1995
Abstract We report that aniline could be intercalated into the layered perovskites, HCa2Nb3O10 and HCa2Nb2MO9 (M  Al, Fe), and subsequently polymerized by treatment with (NH4)2S2O8, to give novel PANI-layered perovskite composites (PANI = polyaniline).

Tuning the Luminescence of Layered Halide Perovskites

Chemical Reviews, 2019
Layered halide perovskites offer a versatile platform for manipulating light through synthetic design. Although most layered perovskites absorb strongly in the ultraviolet (UV) or near-UV region, their emission can range from the UV to the infrared region of the electromagnetic spectrum.

The Diversity of Layered Halide Perovskites

open access: yesAnnual Review of Materials Research, 2018
The two-dimensional congeners of the well-known three-dimensional perovskites display new properties enabled by their reduced dimensionality. Here, organic molecules separate inorganic sheets, affording the properties of both discrete molecules and extended solids in single, well-defined materials.

Suppressed Ion Migration along the In-Plane Direction in Layered Perovskites

open access: yesACS Energy Letters, 2018
Ion migration in a three-dimensional (3D) perovskite is the source of many unique phenomena such as photocurrent hysteresis and a giant switchable photovoltaic effect and can also accelerate the degradation of perovskite-based electronic devices. Here we

Molecular Intercalation and Electronic Two Dimensionality in Layered Hybrid Perovskites

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie - International Edition, 2020
In layered hybrid perovskites, such as (BA) 2PbI4 (BA=C4H9NH3), electrons and holes are considered to be confined in atomically thin two dimensional (2D) Pb–I inorganic layers.

Exfoliation of layered rutile and perovskite tungstates

Chemical Communications, 2002
The layered trirutile phases HMWO6 (M = Nb, Ta) and the layered perovskite H2W2O7 (synthesized by acid leaching of Bi2W2O9) were exfoliated into nanoscale colloids by reaction with quaternary ammonium hydroxides.
