Mixed alumina–chromia pillared layered α-zirconium phosphate
J. Mater. Chem., 1994Mixed aluminium(III)–chromium(III) oligomers have been intercalated into colloidal α-zirconium phosphate by in situ, polymerisation from buffered mixed Al–Cr solutions at the reflux temperature. Single mixed species are formed in a wide range of added Al : Cr ratios, between 10 : 90 and 70 : 30.

A layered derivative of α-zirconium phosphate containing L-(+)-serine covalently attached to the inorganic layer has been prepared by allowing Zr fluoro complexes to decompose in the presence of L-(+)-phosphoserine. On the basis of thermogravimetric weight loss and C,H,N elemental analyses, the layered compound obtained has been formulated as Zr[HOOCCH(

Oxide layers with titanium and zirconium phosphates
Russian Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, 2008Oxide-phosphate layers 20 to 150 μm thick were obtained on titanium by plasma electrolytic deposition in individual and mixed aqueous electrolytes with polyphosphate complexes of zirconium(IV), barium(II), and copper(II). Formation features, thickness, elemental and phase compositions, and surface morphology of the films are presented. Depending on the

Ionothermal Synthesis and Structure of a New Layered Zirconium Phosphate
Inorganic Chemistry, 2015A new layered zirconium phosphate material has been synthesized ionothermally using N-ethylpyridinium (Epy) bromide as both the solvent and the template, and its structure has been solved from synchrotron X-ray powder diffraction data using the charge-flipping routine implemented in Superflip.

Non Linear Optics in Zirconium Phosphate Layered Phases
Molecular Crystals and Liquid Crystals Science and Technology. Section A. Molecular Crystals and Liquid Crystals, 1998Abstract The stilbazolium chromophore 4-[4-(dimethylamino)-α-styryl]-1-methylpyridinium (DAMS) ion can be exchanged with the α and γ forms of 7, irconium phosphate to give single phase materials of interlayer distance 16.5 and 16.4 A respectively. The latter has a second harmonic generation efficiency, measured at 1.9 μm, equal to that of urea, whilst ...

Oxide-phosphate layers with zirconium compounds on titanium
Protection of Metals, 2007Layers of titanium and zirconium oxides and phosphates can be formed on the titanium surface in the aqueous baths containing polyphosphates and Zr(SO4)2 · 4H2O by the plasma-electrolytic method. The elemental and phase composition and the thickness of films, as well as the mechanism of their formation, depend on the molar ratio n = [polyphosphate]/[Zr4+
