Fabrication of Plga/Hap and Plga/Phb/Hap Fibrous Nanocomposite Materials for Osseous Tissue Regeneration [PDF]
The study presents the manufacturing of nanofibrous structures as osteoconductive, osteoinductive materials for osseous tissue regeneration. The fibrous structures were obtained by electrospinning of poly(l-lactide-coglicolide) (PLGA) with addition of ...

We generate hafnium nanostructures by first depositing polystyrene particles of varying diameter followed by physical vapour deposition of hafnium thin films. The resultant structure shows a kill‐on‐contact effect against both Gram‐negative Escherichia coli and Gram‐positive Staphylococcus aureus.

Crack Repair in Hydroxyapatite Bioceramics Using an Ultraviolet Ultrafast Laser
The study proposes an ultrafast ultraviolet laser approach to repair hidden tooth cracks, which has been preliminarily validated on HAP. Moreover, this technique aims to strengthen the native enamel structure rather than introducing a foreign filling material.

Hydrogen Bonding Network in Interlayer Spaces of a Partially Deuterated Layered α-Sn (IV) Phosphate: A Solid-State MAS NMR Study. [PDF]
The solid‐state 1H and 2H NMR data collected for deuterated α‐Sn (HPO4)2 phosphate suggest the hydrogen bonding network, where the cavity water accepts one hydrogen bond from the P‐OH donor group and forms one hydrogen bond with the neighboring phosphate group, while the other water hydrogen is not involved in hydrogen bonding.
