Fluorophobic Effect Enables Selective Detection of PFAS in Water with Electrolyte‐Gated Organic Transistors

PerFluoroAlkyl Substances (PFAS) are responsible of major and persistent environmental pollution worldwide. This work demonstrates an ultra‐sensitive sensor for PFAS based on an organic transistor whose gate is functionalized with a binary self‐assembled monolayer containing a perfluorinated molecule.

The Quantitative Detection of Cystatin-C in Patient Samples Using a Colorimetric Lateral Flow Immunoassay

A colloidal gold-based lateral flow immunoassay was developed for the rapid quantitative detection of Cystatin-C in serum and whole blood. This device has an assay time of 15 min, making it a convenient point-of-care diagnostic tool.

This work presents a soft microelectrode array based on vertically aligned carbon nanotube (CNT) forests, combining high conductivity with mechanical softness. A densification process and air‐pressure‐assisted flexibilization improve structural integrity, ensuring stable insertion and reduced inflammation.
