From Invisible to Visible: Pressure‐Responsive Photonic Crystals for Advanced Information Encryption
Multilayered composite materials are fabricated based on chiral nematic cellulose nanocrystals incorporated in a shape‐memory polymer matrix. Upon hot‐pressing, they consistently present initially hidden patterns/information with structural colors distinct from the background over multiple pressing‐recovery cycles.

A Trade‐Off between Pulse Energy and Stability in Seeded Free‐Electron Lasers
Seeded free‐electron lasers (FELs) require balancing competing factors for optimal performance. This work analyzes how dispersion strength influences output in high‐gain harmonic generation. Results reveal a trade‐off: maximizing pulse energy often comes at the cost of reduced stability and vice versa.

Nonvolatile and Low‐Loss Reconfigurable Optical Switches Using Sb2S3 Phase Change Material
Sb2S3‐assisted hybrid plasmonic waveguide‐based reconfigurable, nonvolatile 1 × 2 switch using an asymmetric directional coupler is presented. Its dual‐polarization functionality ensures its broader applicability and flexibility in integrated photonic systems where polarization diversity is often required.
