BLT: Bidirectional Layout Transformer for Controllable Layout Generation
Creating visual layouts is a critical step in graphic design. Automatic generation of such layouts is essential for scalable and diverse visual designs. To advance conditional layout generation, we introduce BLT, a bidirectional layout transformer. BLT differs from previous work on transformers in adopting non-autoregressive transformers.

The fabrication of patterned transition metal dichalcogenide (TMD)/graphene heterostructures via direct laser writing reveals new interface chemistry and enables efficient, customizable assembly. Selective laser irradiation of functionalized TMD/graphene triggers localized reactions, forming chemically modified interfaces.

Layout area models for high-level synthesis [PDF]
Traditionally, the common cost functions, the number of functional units, registers and selector inputs, are used in high level synthesis as quality measures. However, these traditional design quality measures may not reflect the real physical design. To

Fast Neutron Detector Based on Hybrid 2D Perovskite Thin Films
This work presents the direct detection of fast neutrons using flexible hybrid 2D perovskite (PEA2PbBr4) thin‐film detectors. Thanks to their high low‐Z elements content and good charge transport, these materials enable efficient neutron detection. The thin film configuration allowed the operation at low voltage, and offer scalability, flexibility, and

This study presents a novel method using laser‐induced graphene (LIG) to enable high‐yield transfer of silver nanowire (AgNW) networks onto ultra‐low modulus, breathable silicone substrates. This approach creates ultra‐conformal epidermal electrodes (≈50 µm) for long‐term, high‐fidelity electrophysiological monitoring, even in challenging conditions ...

Evolving more efficient digital circuits by allowing circuit layout evolution and multi-objective fitness [PDF]
We use evolutionary search to design combinational logic circuits. The technique is based on evolving the functionality and connectivity of a rectangular array of logic cells whose dimension is defined by the circuit layout.
