Electroforming Thin Fe Foils Using ChCl/Urea Deep Eutectic Solvent: Effects of MnCl2 and Current Density on Microstructure and Corrosion Behavior

open access: yesMetalMat, Volume 3, Issue 1, March 2026.
This study reports the electroforming of Fe thin foils using ChCl/urea DES. It analyzes the effect of current density and MnCl2 addition in the electroformed samples’ composition and corrosion behavior. It presents new insights into Mn incorporation via Fe₂O₃ doping in the Fe matrix.

Soft X-ray spectral variations of the narrow line Seyfert l galaxy Markarian 766 [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
The X-ray variability of the narrow-line Seyfert 1 galaxy Markarian 766 is studied using nine ROSAT PSPC data sets. The spectrum is well described by a power law combined with a blackbody (kT ∼ 70 eV) soft excess.

Outcomes of Left Bundle Branch Area Pacing in Heart Failure Patients: A Systematic Review

open access: yesAnnals of Noninvasive Electrocardiology, Volume 31, Issue 2, March 2026.
LBBAP demonstrated significant improvements in cardiac function, with most studies reporting substantial increases in LVEF and reductions in QRSd. LBBAP is a promising alternative to conventional pacing strategies, offering superior electrical and mechanical synchronization, enhanced cardiac function, and better clinical outcomes.

Implantation Success, Electrical Performance, and Safety of an Active Fixation Stylet‐Driven Lead for LBBAP in Clinical Practice: A Multicenter Experience

open access: yesJournal of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology, Volume 37, Issue 3, Page 475-483, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Left bundle branch area pacing (LBBAP) has emerged as a promising physiological pacing strategy. However, its feasibility and safety using conventional stylet‐driven leads (SDL) such as INGEVITY+ remain under investigation. Objective To evaluate the clinical performance, safety, and follow‐up outcomes of LBBAP using the INGEVITY ...

Environmental Gradients Decouple Demographic and Adaptive Connectivity in a Highly Mobile Coastal Marine Species

open access: yesMolecular Ecology, Volume 35, Issue 5, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Understanding how eco‐evolutionary processes shape genetic variation and persistence in marine species with highly variable recruitment dynamics and dispersal potential remains a fundamental challenge, particularly when considering the interplay between gene flow and local adaptation.

Assessment of the Fish Stock Status of the Spangled Emperor Lethrinus nebulosus Along the Coast of Balochistan, Pakistan

open access: yesJournal of Marine Science and Engineering
The sustainable exploitation of fishery resources in Pakistan was assessed using the catch-based Monte Carlo method (CMSY) and the length-based Bayesian biomass (LBB) method to evaluate the data-limited fishery of the Spangled Emperor, Lethrinus ...

Least-squares finite elements for Stokes problem [PDF]

open access: yes
A least-squares method based on the first-order velocity-pressure-vorticity formulation for the Stokes problem is proposed. This method leads to a minimization problem rather than to a saddle-point problem.

Glycolytic alterations as biomarkers in polycystic kidney disease: A study using a PKD1 knockout model in NRK‐52E rat kidney epithelial cells

open access: yesPhysiological Reports, Volume 14, Issue 6, March 2026.
CRISPR–Cas9–mediated PKD1 knockout in NRK‐52E rat kidney epithelial cells induces glycolytic reprogramming. Hyperpolarized [1‐13C]pyruvate magnetic resonance spectroscopy reveals increased pyruvate‐to‐lactate conversion accompanied by elevated lactate dehydrogenase activity and altered monocarboxylate transporter expression.
