Abstract INTRODUCTION Circular RNAs (circRNAs) are emerging as key regulators of gene expression, synaptic plasticity, and neuronal function in Alzheimer's disease (AD). Here, we characterize the biological actions of circPDE4B, a highly expressed circRNA markedly reduced in AD. METHODS circPDE4B knockdown in neuronal progenitor cells was combined with

An injectable CNC–PNIPAM hydrogel is developed for intrauterine co‐delivery of levonorgestrel and botropase. This platform reprograms uterine natural killer cells toward an immune–tolerant phenotype and enhances endometrial receptivity marker expression. The results demonstrate a promising strategy to counteract endometriosis–associated infertility and

Combination of pejvakin and LC3B for treating hearing losses
The balance between peroxisome biogenesis and degradation is crucial for redox cell homeostasis. The present invention is based on the findings that pejvakin is involved in the early and rapid selective autophagic degradation of peroxisome (pexophagy) in auditory hair cells subjected to sound overstimulation, by interacting with the autophagosome ...

VGLL3 Regulates DAPK2‐Mediated Autophagy During Osteoblast Differentiation
VGLL3 regulates autophagic activity during osteoblast differentiation and is associated with DAPK2‐mediated autophagy. Overexpression of Dapk2 partially restores autophagy and osteogenic differentiation in Vgll3‐deficient osteoblasts. ABSTRACT Vestigial‐like family member 3 (VGLL3), a transcriptional cofactor of the TEA domain family, has been ...

ABSTRACT Background Although epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitors (EGFR TKIs) are effective in treating NSCLC with EGFR mutations, the development of resistance limits their long‐term efficacy. Autophagy has been implicated as a potential mechanism behind this acquired resistance.

Antiproliferative Effects of Cannabinoids and Cisplatin in Cervical Cancer Cells
ABSTRACT Introduction Cervical cancer remains a leading cause of cancer‐related mortality among women globally, particularly in low‐ and middle‐income countries. Cisplatin, a standard chemotherapeutic agent, is limited by severe toxicities and chemoresistance. This study aimed to assess the effects of cisplatin in combination with phytocannabinoids, Δ9‐

ABSTRACT Osteosarcoma and rhabdomyosarcoma are the most common pediatric sarcomas, yet prognosis remains poor due to high relapse rates. This study investigates the repurposing of palbociclib (PB) and disulfiram (DS), alongside sodium selenite (SS), as potential therapeutic strategies.

Saikosaponin A from Radix Bupleuri inhibited colorectal cancer HCT116 cells with low toxicity. SSA induced S/G2‐M cell cycle arrest and triggered autophagy via mTOR inhibition. SSA suppressed metastasis by blocking PI3K/AKT signaling pathway. SSA significantly reduced tumor growth without apparent toxicity.

Bioengineered brain targeting RVG‐modified BMSCs‐derived small extracellular vesicles loaded with miR‐21 alleviate excessive autophagic neuronal injury after cerebral ischaemia via PTEN/Akt/mTOR pathway. ABSTRACT Ischaemic stroke (IS) leads to tragic disability and high adult mortality, while there are limited therapeutic measures for it.
