This thesis covers life cycle assessment software. Life cycle assessment (LCA) is a method for assessing the environmental impacts of a product or a service throughout its whole life cycle. The main goal of this study was to investigate the usability of openLCA software. At the beginning of the thesis a short history of LCA is provided.
