Electromagnetic modeling of LCC-HVDC
2020This chapter describes the electromagnetic transient (EMT) modeling of two-terminal line commutated converter-based high-voltage direct current (LCC-HVDC) transmission systems. The scope of the description is confined to modeling for the computation of EMTs associated with HVDC transmission systems using the widely spread EMT program-type method.

Development of an Advanced LCC-HVDC Model for Transmission System

Unlike most of the HVDC models in different simulation packages, this model explicitly incorporates the Automatic Filter Switching control and On-Load Tap Changer (OLTC) control.

IECON 2007 - 33rd Annual Conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, 2007In this paper we consider the design for the offshore grid frequency control in a DFIG-based wind farm with LCC HVDC link connection.
