Short‐Term Dietary Intervention Alters Physiological Profiles Relevant to Ageing

open access: yesAging Cell, Volume 25, Issue 5, May 2026.
A 4‐week controlled dietary intervention in older adults reduced KDM‐derived δAge, especially with high‐carbohydrate and semi‐vegetarian diets, indicating rapid shifts in age‐related physiological profiles. These changes likely reflect coordinated, system‐wide physiological adaptations to dietary intake, with potential implications for longer‐term ...

Long‐Term Stress Adaptation as a Highly‐Conserved Key Factor in Yeast Aging

open access: yesAging Cell, Volume 25, Issue 5, May 2026.
This study shows that long‐term, but not short‐term, stress exposure triggers molecular changes in yeast that mirror established hallmarks of aging, including altered proteostasis, epigenetic shifts, and reduced lifespan. These changes are reversible upon stress removal, and the genes involved are conserved across all domains of life. ABSTRACT Aging is

Weight Loss as a Determinant of Histological Improvement in Metabolic Dysfunction‐Associated Steatotic Liver Disease in People With Obesity. A Systematic Review and Network Meta‐Analysis of Randomised Clinical Trials

open access: yesDiabetes, Obesity and Metabolism, Volume 28, Issue 5, Page 4253-4260, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Metabolic dysfunction‐associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) is closely linked to obesity and insulin resistance, and sustained weight loss is associated with histological improvement. Whether different obesity‐management modalities exert weight‐independent hepatic effects remains uncertain.

Simulated Self‐Assessment and Error Correction in Preclinical Prosthodontics: Insights From 3D‐Printed Models

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Dental Education, Volume 30, Issue 2, Page 407-417, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Introduction Developing self‐assessment and defect correction skills is essential for dental students to ensure high‐quality clinical practice. However, these skills are often insufficiently addressed in dental education. This study evaluates students' ability to assess and correct crown preparation defects through a structured exercise ...
