Optimal Linear Codes and Their Hulls
The hull of a linear code C is the intersection of C with its dual code. The goal is to study the dimensions of the hulls of optimal binary and ternary linear codes for a given length and dimension.

Abstract Introduction Community‐acquired pneumonia (CAP) is a frequent and costly cause of pediatric emergency department (ED) visits and hospitalizations. Previous prognostic tools for CAP are limited by small samples, single‐center or retrospective designs, lack of generalizability to ED settings, lack of biomarkers, or limited objective data.

Similar rates of women undergo re‐treatment for prolapse after surgery with native tissue and mesh, while subjective recurrence is common, and the site of reoperation varies depending on prior surgical treatment. Only a minority of mesh exposures requires surgical treatment.

Duality of codes over non-unital rings of order six
Some basic theory on the duality of codes over two non-unital rings of order $ 6 $, namely $ H_{23} $ and $ H_{32} $ is presented. For a code $ {{\mathcal C}} $ over these rings, there is an associated binary code $ {{\mathcal C}}_a $ and a ternary code $

Conditional Restricted Boltzmann Machines for Structured Output Prediction [PDF]
Conditional Restricted Boltzmann Machines (CRBMs) are rich probabilistic models that have recently been applied to a wide range of problems, including collaborative filtering, classification, and modeling motion capture data. While much progress has been

Cyclic, LCD, and Self-Dual Codes over the Non-Frobenius Ring GR(p2,m)[u]/〈u2,pu〉
Let p be a prime number and m be a positive integer. In this paper, we investigate cyclic codes of length n over the local non-Frobenius ring R=GR(p2,m)[u], where u2=0 and pu=0.

A binary linear code C is called a linear complementary dual (LCD) code if it meets its dual trivially. The concept of strong coset leader is introduced to characterize LCD cyclic codes and a unified formula on the amount of LCD cyclic codes with given code length n is presented.

ABSTRACT Background/Objective 3D printed materials have been evaluated for fabricating mouthguards; however, little is known about their biomechanical performance in preventing dental trauma. This study aimed to compare two 3D printed polymers and three ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) sheets used for mouthguard fabrication regarding their mechanical ...

Affine Cartesian codes with complementary duals
A linear code $C$ with the property that $C \cap C^{\perp} = \{0 \}$ is said to be a linear complementary dual, or LCD, code. In this paper, we consider generalized affine Cartesian codes which are LCD.
