A brief history of the LCOE definition - An update
SSRN Electronic Journal, 2021Contrary to common understanding, we prove that the LCOE (Levelized Cost Of Energy) definition used by many government agencies around the world is mistaken. We derive the correct definition. The paper shows how a fundamental theorem of integral calculus can help to solve a practical problem that has been misinterpreted for many years.

A Research on Shading and LCOE of Building Integrated Photovoltaic
2011 Asia-Pacific Power and Energy Engineering Conference, 2011This paper has discussed designing and economic analysis of BIPV systems. For system designing, two major problems: shading and tilt angle calculation are analyzed. A new way to calculate tilt angle so as to reduce the impacts of shading and maximize power output is presented, followed by a designing example to show its effectiveness.
