Uncovering the Interaction Nature of Solvation Shell for Transition‐Metal‐Based Aqueous Batteries

open access: yesEcoEnergy, EarlyView.
Multiscale analyses are adopted to demystify the interaction and regularize the mechanism of ligand regulation for solvation by the methods of quantum chemistry, molecular dynamics, and wavefunction analyses. ABSTRACT Transition‐metal‐based aqueous batteries, particularly iron and zinc‐based systems, have emerged as promising candidates for energy ...

Seed‐mediated self‐driven nucleation growth of doped monolayer WS2 film

open access: yesInfoMat, EarlyView.
A self‐driven nucleation strategy using the high surface energy of step sapphire substrates was employed to promote the nucleation of dopant precursors anchored at the step edges. This method alleviates the severe issue of dopant metal source enrichment at the material edges during the substitutional doping growth.

A Low-Voltage Multistage Output Capacitor-Less LDO Using Dynamic Transient Enhancement Technique for SoC Applications

open access: yesIEEE Access
This paper introduces a sub-1V output capacitorless low dropout regulator (OCL-LDO) for fast load transients. The OCL-LDO structures a multi-gain stage error amplifier and employs a dynamic transient enhancement (DTE) technique to improve response time ...

Low-noise high-voltage DC power supply for nanopositioning applications [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Nanopositioning techniques currently applied to characterize physical properties of materials interesting for applications at the microscopic scale rely on high-voltage electronic control circuits that should have the lowest possible noise level. Here we

Low‐ripple coarse‐fine digital low‐dropout regulator without ringing in the transient state

open access: yesETRI Journal, 2020
Herein, a low‐ripple coarse‐fine digital low‐dropout regulator (D‐LDO) without ringing in the transient state is proposed. Conventional D‐LDO suffers from a ringing problem when settling the output voltage at a large load transition, which increases the ...

Electronic Structure Modulation via Composition‐Preserving Phase Transformations in Metal–Organic Assemblies on the Surface

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
We observed composition‐preserving stepwise transformation of metal–organic self‐assembly at room temperature and systematically investigated the consequent modification in electronic structure using scanning tunneling microscopy and spectroscopy (STM/STS), combined with density functional theory (DFT) calculations.

A series of MgAl layer double hydroxide-based materials intercalated with Clitoria ternatea flower extract as photocatalysts in the ciprofloxacin degradation

open access: yesChemical Physics Impact
The preparation of MgAl Layer Double Hydroxide (LDH) was performed using the coprecipitation method. Pristine MgAl LDH was calcined at 500 °C to produce the MgAl Layer Double Oxide (LDO).
