Trap Depth Modulation and Antenna Effect of Organic Ligands for Enhancing Rare‐Earth Long Persistent Luminescence

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Different from the current research trends that mainly focus on optimizing a single color system, a universal organic–inorganic hybrid strategy is proposed, aiming to synergistically enhance the luminescent properties of red, green, and blue multi‐color inorganic long‐persistent phosphorescent materials by trap depth modulation and antenna effect of ...

The effect of wheat straw bleaching on some mechanical properties of wheat straw/LDPE biocomposites [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Food and Bioprocess Engineering, 2020
Using biocomposites containing wheat straw (WS) and synthetic polymers like polyethylene (PE) has gained tremendous popularity, but its application in the packaging industry is not substantial. Due to the prevalence of raw WS color which manifests itself

Kajian Karakteristik dan Energi pada Pirolisis Limbah Plastik Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE)

open access: yesJurnal Teknik Kimia dan Lingkungan, 2021
Low-Density Poly Ethylene (LDPE), plastic waste cannot be broken down by microorganisms in the soil, has no sale value, so it is buried in the final waste disposal site. One of the plastic waste treatment methods is the pyrolysis process.

Challenges and enablers in fluidization technology

open access: yesAIChE Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract Gas–solid fluidized beds provide excellent heat and mass transfer for high‐throughput operations from coating to catalytic conversion and underpin emerging low‐carbon technologies. Yet industrial reliability, scale‐up, and control lag scientific understanding, particularly as finer, stickier, and more variable feedstocks increasingly challenge

Pre‐Curved Everting Robots With Embedded Steering Intelligence Fabricated by CO2 Laser Welding

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Design and experimental demonstration of a laser welded growing robot for anatomically guided navigation. The robot follows an aortic arch phantom entering the branchiocephalic branch through steering by design. The figure shows the physical phantom setup, CAD defined weld geometry and full robot eversion.

Biodegradability of Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) and Discovery of LDPE-Degrading Microbes

open access: yesNIPPON GOMU KYOKAISHI, 2007
Three types of low density polyethylene (LDPE)-degrading microbes were discovered, and unambiguous evidence for biodegradation of LDPE was presented. Pieces of LDPE film, buried and biodegraded, and their surrounding soil were used as the source of microbes.

Valorization of Post‐Consumer Waste From Metallized Flexible Packaging and Industrial EPM Waste: Development of Sustainable Composites

open access: yesJournal of Applied Polymer Science, EarlyView.
Post‐consumer metallized flexible packaging waste and industrial EPM waste are transformed into sustainable composites through mechanical recycling. The incorporation of 30 wt% EPM provides the most favorable balance between stiffness, ductility, and impact resistance, achieving 53.36 kJ/m2.
