Chloride‐Mediated Electron Buffering on Ni‐Fe Anodes for Ampere‐Level Alkaline Seawater Electrolysis
Utilizing abundant chloride ion (Cl−) of seawater, the small organic molecule (SOM) layer on the electrocatalyst surface is converted to SOM‐Cl layer. Meanwhile, the conjugated structure of SOM is modified. SOM‐Cl layer can effectively mitigate the damage caused by the highly oxidative environment.

Marginal abatement costs for reducing leaching of nitrates in Croatian agriculture [PDF]
The aim of this paper is to estimate marginal abatement costs (MAC) of N-fertiliser tax policies which aim to prevent NO3 levels from rising. Estimates of MAC provide information on how large reductions in Nfertilisation rates should be before other ...

A Sustainable Biotechnology Approach for Mineral Separation
Silver‑binding peptides are first identified through phage‐display screening, and then engineered into multifunctional and responsive peptides or proteins. These tailored biomolecules can selectively capture and aggregate silver particles or ions from complex mixtures, enabling rapid and efficient silver separation and recovery.

Modelling effects of acid deposition and climate change on soil and run-off chemistry at Risdalsheia, Norway [PDF]
Elevated carbon dioxide levels, caused by anthropogenic emissions of carbon dioxide to the atmosphere, and higher temperature may lead to increased plant growth and uptake to nitrogen, but increased temperature may lead to increased nitrogen ...
