Serum (plasma) lead, blood lead, and bone lead
American Journal of Industrial Medicine, 1997Bergdahl and Skerfving [1997] report data that support their contention that lead released from bone is not a significant factor in determining the ratio of plasma lead to whole blood lead. Instead, they observe a correlation between this plasma/blood lead ratio and the lead concentration in whole blood.
