Formation Mechanisms for Hetero-Phase Ferroelectric Films of Lead Zirconate Titanate
An experimental and theoretical study of the formation processes of "impurity" phase inclusions in ferroelectric oxides is carried out via example of polycrystalline lead zirconate-titanate (PZT) films.

Polymorphic Superparaelectric Engineering Boosting Energy Storage Capacity in BaTiO3‐Based Ceramics
Herein, Ca2+ incorporation promotes the coexistence of CaTiO3‐/BaTiO3‐derived paraferroelectric states, stabilizing cubic‐orthorhombic‐tetragonal polymorphic superparaelectric phases. This minimizes polarization energy barriers, facilitating full polarization saturation without compromising efficiency.

Microstructure features of spherulitic lead zirconate titanate thin films
This study examines differences in the microstructure of spherulitic PZT films, in which low-angle non-crystalline and crystalline branching is realized during the perovskite phase crystallization, using scanning electron microscopy.

Ferroelectric Devices for In‐Memory and In‐Sensor Computing
Inspired by biological systems, in‐memory and in‐sensor computing overcome von Neumann bottlenecks. Ferroelectric devices can mimic synaptic functions and sense stimuli like light or force, therefore are ideal for these paradigms. This review introduces the ferroelectric devices applied for in‐memory and in‐sensor computing, covering their structures ...

Preparation of sub-micron PZT particles with the sol-gel technique [PDF]
This paper describes the production of Pb1.0Zr0.9Ti0.1 ceramic powder, by using metal organic precursors as starting materials. In this study polyvinylpyrrolidone, PVP, was used to create a PZT–PVP sol and then also added as a secondary stage to control ...

Flexoelectricity in Photoconversion: Fundamentals, Materials, and Outlooks
Mechanical bending of a flexible cantilever induces a strain gradient in the photoactive material. The resulting flexoelectric field couples with photovoltaic and photoconductive effects, modulating charge generation, separation, and collection. A comparative analysis of oxide perovskites, halide perovskites, and two‐dimensional materials is presented,

Orientación de láminas delgadas de (Pb, Ca)TiO3
Calcium modified PbTiO3 thin films have been prepared on platinized Si, MgO and SrTiO3 substrates. The films were deposited from a sol-gel solution with a concentration of 0.3 M and with a 10% excess of PbO.
