Electrohydrodynamic Deposition of Nanostructured Lead Zirconate Titanate

The deposition of a propanol-based lead zirconate titanate (PZT) sol using electrohydrodynamic atomization (EHDA) in the stable cone-jet mode was investigated. The droplets generated were deposited onto a copper substrate as a film, which was investigated using X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy.

Lead titanate nano- and microtubes

Lead titanate (PbTiO3) nano- and microtubes were fabricated by wetting ordered porous alumina and macroporous silicon with precursor oligomers coupled with templated thermolysis. The diameters of the PbTiO3 tubes range from a few tens of nanometers up to one micron.

High voltage photovoltaic effect in barium titanate and lead titanate-lead zirconate ceramics

Abstract Steady large photo-emf's proportional to length and remanent polarization were observed in the ceramic materials: BaTiO3 + 5 wt% CaTiO3, Pb(Zr0.53, Ti0.47)O3 with 1 wt% Nb, and hot pressed Pb(Zr0.65, Ti0.35)O3 with 7 and 8% lanthanum for lead substitutions. Photo-emf's are also dependent on material, grain size, and temperature.
