Pyroelectric properties of lead-barium titanate and lead-strontium titanate

open access: yesBulletin of Materials Science, 1987
Pyroelectric properties of poled solid solutions of lead-barium titanate and leadstrontium titanate have been investigated in the temperature range covering their transition points. The values of pyroelectric current and coefficients of (Pbx − Ba1 −x)TiO3 and (Pbx − Sr1 −x)TiO3(x = 0·8 − 0·5) show a sharp peak at the Curie temperature.

Influence of Lithium on Structural Properties of Lead Zirconium Titanate (PZT) [PDF]

open access: yesArchives of Metallurgy and Materials
Lead Zirconium Titanate (PZT) is a potential piezoelectric material for sensor and transducer applications due to its outstanding piezoelectric coupling near the morphotropic phase boundary (MPB).

Self-Polarization in PbTiO3 Crystals Induced by Chemical Inhomogeneity in the Surface Layer

open access: yesCrystals, 2023
We study the so-called self-polarization phenomenon in single, electroded PbTiO3 crystals. In this case, near the electrodes, surface layers are formed with a chemically modified perovskite structure.

PEROVSKITES AND OTHER FRAMEWORK STRUCTURE CRYSTALLINE MATERIALS (BOOK' FIRST PAGES AND PREFACE)

open access: yesMaterials and Devices, 2021
Perovskites are among the most famous materials due to their exceptional properties: they present nearly all existing types of interesting properties, in particular as ferroics or multiferroics, they may be insulators, (super)conductors, or ...
