Ferroelectric Lead Zirconate Titanate and Barium Titanate Nanoshell Tubes

ABSTRACTWetting of the pore walls of porous templates is a simple and convenient method to prepare nanoshell tubes. Wafer-scale fabrication of ferroelectric lead zirconate titanate and barium titanate nanoshell tubes was accomplished by wetting porous silicon templates with polymeric precursors.

High voltage photovoltaic effect in barium titanate and lead titanate-lead zirconate ceramics

Abstract Steady large photo-emf's proportional to length and remanent polarization were observed in the ceramic materials: BaTiO3 + 5 wt% CaTiO3, Pb(Zr0.53, Ti0.47)O3 with 1 wt% Nb, and hot pressed Pb(Zr0.65, Ti0.35)O3 with 7 and 8% lanthanum for lead substitutions. Photo-emf's are also dependent on material, grain size, and temperature.
