High voltage photovoltaic effect in barium titanate and lead titanate-lead zirconate ceramics
Journal of Solid State Chemistry, 1975Abstract Steady large photo-emf's proportional to length and remanent polarization were observed in the ceramic materials: BaTiO3 + 5 wt% CaTiO3, Pb(Zr0.53, Ti0.47)O3 with 1 wt% Nb, and hot pressed Pb(Zr0.65, Ti0.35)O3 with 7 and 8% lanthanum for lead substitutions. Photo-emf's are also dependent on material, grain size, and temperature.
