Preparation and characterization of PbTi0(3) ceramics modified by a natural mixture of rare earth oxides of xenotime [PDF]
Lead titanate ceramics modified by xenotime (Xm) with nominal composition (Pb, Xm)TiO3, Xm 10 or 15 mol %, were prepared by the conventional oxide mixture technique. Xenotime is a natural mineral consisting of a mixture of rare earth oxides.

Strain-engineered interaction of quantum polar and superconducting phases
Much of the focus of modern condensed matter physics concerns control of quantum phases with examples that include flat band superconductivity in graphene bilayers, the interplay of magnetism and ferroelectricity, and induction of topological transitions

Topotatic‐Like Phase Transformation of Amorphous Lead Titanate to Cubic Lead Titanate
The crystallization process of lead titanate (PT) prepared using the polymeric precursor method was investigated using X‐ray diffractometry, Raman spectroscopy, electron microscopy, and X‐ray absorption spectroscopy techniques. The results showed that amorphous PT was formed by an O–Ti–O structure composed of fivefold and sixfold oxygen‐coordinated ...

Does a Morphotropic Phase Boundary Exist in ZrxHf1‐xO2‐Based Thin Films?
This study investigates 6 nm zirconium‐rich hafnium‐zirconium oxide thin–film metal–insulator–metal capacitors using a combination of experimental methods and machine learning–based molecular dynamics simulations to provide insight into the physical mechanisms that enhance the dielectric constant near 0 V and attribute it to the field‐induced ...

Incorporation of dysprosium ions into PbTiO3 ferroelectric ceramic system [PDF]
A structural analysis concerning the incorporation of dysprosium into A- and/or B-sites of the lead titanate is shown. The two "boundary" refinements are presented, i.e., Dy2+ substitutes for Pb2+ (Dy3+ substitutes for Ti4+) and Dy3+ substitutes for Pb2+
