Leaf analysis for plant recognition

2016 7th IEEE International Conference on Software Engineering and Service Science (ICSESS), 2016
Plants are essential resources for nature and people's lives. Plant recognition provides valuable information for plant research and development, and has great impact on environmental protection and exploration. This paper presents a leaf analysis system for plant identification, which consists of three main components.

Fatigue Analysis of Leaf Springs

2023
This study aims to design leaf springs, also known as scissor springs, with the help of SolidWorks 2018 program in computer environment and then analyze them with the help of Ansys Workbench 18.1 program in computer environment. In this study, we designed the parabolic leaf spring sample, which was actually produced (Type - 1), in a computer ...

Analysis of Leaf Surface Sesquiterpenes in Potato Varieties

Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, 2005
A comparative study of potato leaf sesquiterpenes was carried out. GC, GC-MS, and NMR analyses were used to identify and quantify the sesquiterpenes in the leaf surfaces of 10 potato (Solanum tuberosum) varieties. Two sesquiterpene alcohols and 17 sesquiterpene hydrocarbons were identified and quantitatively determined.

Genetic Analysis Of Leaf Development

1991
Abstract Plant development and the processes that control it have interested botanists for centuries. The traditional techniques of histology and plant morphology have been used for many years to generate a large body of knowledge on the generation of plant form.

Phenotypic Analysis and Molecular Markers of Leaf Senescence

2018
The process of leaf senescence consists of the final stage of leaf development. It has evolved as a mechanism to degrade macromolecules and micronutrients and remobilize them to other developing parts of the plant; hence it plays a central role for the survival of plants and crop production.

Analysis of leaf CO2 assimilation

1994
Canopy photosynthesis can be calculated by integrating individual leaf photosynthesis over the entire leaf canopy. The value of leaf photosynthesis at each point in time and each point in the leaf canopy is a function of the local environmental conditions, operating on the leaf response curve. Here, some characteristics of the leaf response curve shall

Image Analysis of Leaf Mines

Chinese Journal of Applied and Environmental Biology, 2012
In order to analyze the taxonomy, behavior and ecology of leaf mining insects by means of leaf mines which are the marks caused by larva miners' mining in leaves, the methods of GetData Graph Digitizer and R language were used to get the data of digitalized images of linear leaf mines and their shape parameters, including mean turn angle, concentration of ...
