Population variability in Thymus glabrescens Willd. from Serbia: Morphology, anatomy and essential oil composition [PDF]
In five indigenous populations of Thymus glabrescens Willd. collected in the region of Banat (Serbia), the variability on leaf morphological traits, leaf and stem anatomy, and composition of the essential oil was studied.

Comparative leaf anatomy of the nothospecies × Butyagrus nabonnandii (Arecaceae) with its parental species [PDF]
Anatomical studies of the leaf blade have been used to complement the morphological data and aid circumscription and identification in Arecaceae. The hybrid palm ×Butyagrus nabonnandii results from the natural cross between Butia odorata and Syagrus ...

Leaf physiological and structural plasticity of two Asplenium (Aspleniaceae) species coexisting in sun and shade conditions [PDF]
Background and aims – Relatively few studies have addressed the sun-shade response of fern species. Moreover, there is no information on species-specific plasticity patterns of such response, their relationship with species ecological requirements and ...

The variability of leaf anatomical characteristics of Solanum nigrum L. (Solana-les, Solanaceae) from different habitats [PDF]
In Europe on the whole as well as in Yugoslavia, the most widespread weed species from the genus Solanum is Solanum nigrum L. Since this species inhabits different habitats, it developed several ways of adaptation to environmental conditions.

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.
