Buyer–Supplier Relationships in the Modern Supply Chain: Exploring Professionals' Perspectives on Power Balance in Pursuit of Decarbonization

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Decarbonization is a contemporary and critical organizational agenda for meeting climate change goals, but little is known about how strategies deployed to meet decarbonization goals interact with employees' agentic capacities and coping strategies, particularly in the context of supply chain pressures and power dynamics.

Applications of Biomaterials in Separators for Secondary Batteries

open access: yesCarbon Energy, EarlyView.
In this review, biomaterial‐based separators are reviewed as sustainable alternatives to conventional polyolefin‐based separators. For 12 different natural polymers, spanning from Protista, Plantae, and Animalia, viable strategies for synthesizing biomass‐based separators are described.

Structure and Dynamics of Porin Loops in Asymmetric Outer Membranes of E. coli

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
What are loops of membrane proteins doing within the oligosaccharide coat of cells? This structurally unexplored space is studied by solid‐state NMR, with the outer membrane protein G (OmpG) embedded in asymmetric E. coli outer membrane (OM) vesicles as a paradigmatic example.

Redox‐Switchable Optical and Magnetic Properties in a Self‐Assembled Hexanuclear Ni(II) Double‐Decker Complex

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
A triangular double‐decker Ni6 complex self‐assembles from Ni(II), TMEDA, and a triphenylene tris dioxolene non‐innocent ligand, with two face‐to‐face tris‐semiquinone decks held by a strong covalent C─C interaction. This rigid scaffold delivers four reversible ligand‐centered redox events: oxidation switches on an intense near‐infrared band and ...

Chiral‐at‐Metal Racemization of Tris‐Chelated Octahedral Complexes: A DFT Case Study of Al(acnac)3

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
Racemization and isomerization of M(a‐chel)3 complexes was unraveled using Al(acnac)3 as a model. The ∆/Λ‐fac isomers have four racemization paths of which one includes isomerization to and racemization of the mer isomer. N‐substitution should enable separation of the ∆‐fac and Λ‐fac enantiomers.
