Incidence of virus infections in grapevines from Croatian collection plantations

open access: yesPhytopathologia Mediterranea, 2011
Evaluation of the incidence of virus infections was conducted in two grapevine collection fields. The first was the National collection of Croatian native grapevine cultivars, situated at the “Jazbina” experimentation station in eastern Zagreb, where ...

Nucleotide Sequence of Potato Leafroll Luteovirus RNA

open access: yesJournal of General Virology, 1989
A sequence of 5987 nucleotides is reported for the RNA of potato leafroll luteovirus (PLRV). The sequence contains six large open reading frames, and non-coding regions of 174 nucleotides at the 5' end, 141 nucleotides at the 3' end and 197 nucleotides between two large blocks of coding sequences. The 5' coding region encodes two polypeptides of 28,000

Grapevine Leafroll Disease Control: It Pays to Test Neighboring Vines

open access: yes, 2014
The economics of grapevine leafroll control through vine replacement has a spatial component.  A new model by Shady Atallah and Miguel Gomez demonstrates that testing vines adjacent to those with leafroll symptoms and replacing them if they test positive

Evidence that the Closteroviruses GLRV-1 and GLRV-3 are causal agents of grapevine Leafroll disease

open access: yes, 1995
Young grapevine plants originated from virus-free clones of the cultivars Barbera and Pinot noir and from the hybrid LN-33 were inoculated by green grafting with grape sources infected only with grapevine leafroll-associated closterovirus 1 (GLRaV-1) or ...

Occurrence of grapevine leafroll-associated virus complex in the Republic of Macedonia [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Grapevine Leafroll-Associated Virus Complex is caused by several virus species (grapevine leafroll-associated viruses GLRaV -1, -3, -4, -5, -6, -9 and -10) belonging to the genus Ampelovirus, while GLRaV-2 is assigned to the genus Closterovirus.
